Homerathon 2025 live reading of The Odyssey, Day 2 of 2

Date & Time: Wednesday, September 24, 2025
9am–4pm
Location: LNCO Courtyard, west side of 255 S Central Campus Dr
On/Off Campus: On Campus

Be part of the epic! Join in on a public reading of Daniel Mendelsohn’s 2025 translation of Homer’s Odyssey, performed aloud in the ancient tradition.

For most of history, poetry was not read silently but spoken and shared in public, creating a sense of rhythm, memory, and community.

The Homerathon brings that tradition back to life, inviting readers and listeners alike to experience this timeless tale the way it was meant to be heard: out loud, together, and across two full days of storytelling.
