From the London stage to Salt Lake City’s Broadway Centre Cinemas
Since 2009, National Theatre Live has brought acclaimed British theatre to over 5.5 million viewers worldwide, featuring productions like Phèdre with Helen Mirren, Frankenstein with Benedict Cumberbatch, and Yerma with Billie Piper. Each show is filmed live with cameras placed to give cinema audiences the “best seat in the house.”
The Tanner Humanities Center began screening National Theatre Live in 2010, now hosted at Salt Lake Film Society’s Broadway Centre Cinemas. Season ticket sales support the Tanner’s public and educational programming.
